Machine Learning for Precision Neuropsychiatry ML4PNP

Welcome Roos to ML4PNP!

We are happy to welcome Roos as a new Research Assistant in the Machine Learning for Precision Neuropsychiatry (ML4PNP) Lab at Tilburg University.

Roos is currently a third-year Bachelor’s student in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University. She will support data collection for our NWA-funded P600Norm project, “Normative Range of P600 Morphology as a Diagnostic and Prognostic Tool in Neuropsychiatric Disorders.” The project aims to establish normative ranges of the P600 brain response using EEG, with the long-term goal of supporting diagnostic and prognostic applications in neuropsychiatry.

Through her role, Roos hopes to gain hands-on experience in scientific research, from conducting experiments and collecting data to understanding how research is carried out in practice. She sees this opportunity as an important step towards her longer-term ambition of pursuing a PhD.

Outside her studies, Roos enjoys a wide range of creative activities, including woodworking, sewing, and skateboard art. She also practices parkour in Tilburg and enjoys exploring new challenges and learning new skills.

Welcome to the team, Roos! We look forward to working together and wish you a great start to your research journey.
