Hi everyone! I am Roos, and I will be joining the team as Research Assistant. I live right here in Tilburg, just a 10-minute walk from MindLabs, and I am currently in my third year of the bachelor Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence. In my free time I like to work on various creative projects: woodworking, sewing, skateboard art, anything that I find interesting really. It’s a lot of fun engaging in new projects, discovering their unique processes, each with new things to learn. I also practice parkour at Aquila in Tilburg Reeshof, which helps me to get out of my own head. I find that important for me, as I have a tendency to get too passionate about things, and as a result can sometimes overwork myself. I wanted to become a Research Assistant because I hope to gain experience with conducting scientific research and understand how it is different from just reading about research in academic papers. I hope this could eventually help me become eligible to one day become a PhD Student myself. I haven’t seen everyone from this team yet, but I hope I get to meet everyone at some point
